It sounds like you have to have your phones on Verizon, and then add other things for an extra charge. Still, it might be worthwhile.
Our experience with Verizon hotspot, though, was that it was slower than our Comcast, plus limited to 5g between the two of us. That caused problems because my husband watches a lot of Netflix online.
But maybe it's different now.
