I realize that. Actually, I thought if I lived there I'd probably buy a couple of bags of mulch and put it on the dirt area of the small dog park myself.

I'm less concerned about the lack of better dog parks than some of the hostile remarks about dogs. Finding it disgusting to see someone clean up after their dog? I was looking forward to moving to a place where I wouldn't have to "sweat the small stuff". Again, like most responsible dog owners, I am very careful about making sure my dogs don't interfere with others enjoyment but I personally love to meet other people's dogs and see them about. Oh, well, at least it convinced me of the need for a CYV.

You really don't need to be concerned about the hostility, I get very little of it out and about. People here tend to only show their true selves on the internet, they like to portray themselves as well-adjusted in public.

A CVY would be a good idea, I think someone who values their own privacy stands a better chance at being respectful of yours. IMO, the people in CYVs tend to not be pretentious tools and are likely to have dogs.

I moved here specifically because it was good for dogs. I had looked at another place in Naples (frankly, I preferred that area) where they said you could only have one dog, then salesman just gave me a blank look when I said I had two (I think it was called Sophie's Choice Acres).

TV is great for dogs, I take mine everywhere, but then again I always did.
