Barking Dog
Hey, at least it's not another poop thread. But have you ever had this problem, and if so, what is the proper way to address it? For the last four days there has been a little dog (I can tell by the bark) barking incessantly. It sounds like the dog is either out in the villa yard or on the lanai. He is really stressing out, like those fear-aggressive issues some small dogs have. We back up to villa walls, and the barking is coming from over the wall. I could probably take a walk over there and identify the villa it's coming from. It starts early in the morning and goes on all day long. Frequently it gets the little dog a couple villas down going too, but his owners pretty much bring that dog inside when he starts barking.
I am hoping this is a temporary thing. The owners may be having work done or something similar that is causing them to sequester the dog outside. However, if it is going to be a permanent thing, I don't think we should have to listen to that all winter long.
Aside from going over there and politely discussing this with the dog's owner--which I doubt would work because what kind of personality type would leave their barking dog outside all day to bother the neighbors?-- who is the proper authority to go to about the problem?
Again, I'm not going to jump on this. I'll give it a couple weeks or a month. But my dog told me he's getting a headache... ;=]
