I also absentee voted. The problem under Florida law as I mentioned in the original post is that if your signature is challenged as not matching your prior signature they will discard your ballot. They will eventaully notify you of this decision,once are aware of it you nonetheless cannot dispute it. You will not be given an opportunity to show them examples of your signature. One would think that it would be routine that if your ballot were no good you would be notified and offered a chance to either prove the validity of your signature, or, if they are voiding your ballot then they should notify you that you have the right to vote in person as they would have no reason to worry about double voting as essentially they are saying the submitted ballot was not your vote. If your signature is challenged in person you are allowed to submit a provisional ballot and then an opportunity to prove the signature of record and your new one are the same person.
