Thanks for the info Frank. Since my original posting I’ve done some research on the Delta-Q website. Last spring they were very customer oriented and my hunch is they will be this time also. They indicated repairs can be made but because their chargers work with both software and hardware they, (Delta-Q), feels that unauthorized repair might tarnish their reputation. Evidently customer service IS important to them but they are a huge supplier to many OEM and would prefer the OEM take care of the customer/consumer.

I like my Par Car but with only one facility near TV with parts availability I will probably purchase another brand next time due to my personal experience with the local “customer service”. One would think that with Par Car’s share of 54,000 carts in TV some innovative sole would provide competitive maintenance and repair services. It is direly needed IMHO.

BTW I’ve found the $99 Stanly Charger available through Sam’s club to be nearly as good as the Delta-Q but of course it’s not built in. With over 4 years of ownership the only place I’ve charged my cart is in my garage – plus one could build it into the cart once the Delta-Q was removed I think. China again though but thus the $.
