Ooma works as a VOIP on your internet, not with your cell phone.
Overseas calls on Ooma are so cheap that it still is much less then Vonage. I added $25 to my overseas account two years ago, call Europe and Asia quite often and still have about $11 left. Go to Ooma.com and check overseas rates. They run about 1 to 4 cents per minute. Australia is just under 4 of a cent per minute. If you call a lot you can buy 1000 minutes a month for $9.99 to any country. That is just 1 cent a minute.
