dehumidifyer
We live in the Historic side and had the same problem. We installed a dehumidifyer we got from Lowes. Left the heat on at about 55 so that if there is a really hard freeze it will warm up to keep from freezing. We left the dehumidifyer on to run for 2 hours on and 2 hours off. It will need to be connected to a drain so you will not have to drain the reservor, because you may not be there. For example you could set it in a shower or bath tub. It is very inexpensive to operate
