Dear Readers, I posted a request yesterday, asking for the gift of knitting/crochet yarn. The church I attend, and others, are making lap blankets to be distributed locally to nursing homes and/or the homeless shelters. Although I purchased yarn using discount coupons, the need far outweighs my little contribution. Therefore I posted a request on this site asking for any yarn which is gathering dust in craft cupboards or boxes. JBlumb315 quickly responded, and was so generous to give me a large bag filled with lovely yarn. There is sufficient to make blankets for guys, gals and children.
www.talkofthevillages has come through yet again showing how generous our residents are.
