Delta-Q did have a certain number of chargers where "cold" solder joints led to failures as explained in a previous post. Someone knows what serial numbers are involved, (not me), but based on my request to Columbia Par Car and their consultation with the manufacture of the cart it was probably for units sold before late 2007. I have no personal proof of this statement however, the carts with Delta-Q chargers with "cold" solder problem were evidently replaced even after the warrantee at that time expired. Not so in my case of a charger failure at the 37 month period of a 36 month warrantee.
And, Columbia Par Car will not even trouble shoot a charger problem with a service call. They insist on a pick up and battery/charger evaluation at their Leesburg facility. Most anyone reading this post can tally the final charges to fix a failed charger problem. It's absolutely absurd IMHO.

You could do a quick Google search there sold by a number of companies
I have seen prices from 300 to 750 so shop around.
This company is repairing the 36 volt units and selling them so call and ask about the 48 volt units, this company also rebuilds controllers. Delta-Q Battery Charger For EZ-GO Vehicles - Now Available! Delta Q Powerwise QE, Part # 611119, 915-3610, Reman, Repair, Rebuild
