I have not had any personal friends who have been Jehova's Witnesses but do know some Mormons. The Mormons also go door-to-door to give out The Book of Mormon and to spread their word. Never have I personally met a Mormon who is not a very nice person. I have been to Utah and have seen how they help each other. I imagine the Jehova's Witnesses are similar in their actions.
The original title of the thread was, "Beware of Jehova's Witnesses". Totally wrong thinking.
If you are not interested in talking with them, just decline politily. No need to be nasty.

It's very easy to say thanks but no thanks to a request.
Sometimes the printed word leaves something to be desired.
