We travel a lot with two dogs. It's been our experience that all pet-friendly hotels prohibit leaving dogs in the hotel room when you are absent. There are a few restaurants in The Villages that allow dogs on the patio, not a lot. As far as attending Open Houses, I don't think Agents would allow you to take dogs into houses that are for sale.
