I know the answer to the dogs/restaurants question because I asked specifically at several restaurants when we were there in October. The answer is "no", they don't allow them in their outdoor seating areas. However, many of them have a situation where you could sit at a table next to the fencing and have your pups just on the other side of the fence, so they are on public property, but are close enough to be with you. Does that make sense?

There are small dogs everywhere in TV, obviously well loved. They are all well groomed and made my two look like chopped liver! Good luck with your visit.
