We decided to put in the pool for several reasons. First of all, we are water people. Instead of being on water which I think may attract more wildlife of the undesirable type, we decided to put in the pool which runs the width of all the back sliders and provides a really nice view with the golf course behind. The extended summer is much nicer just being able to jump in rather than hike down to the community pool. The kids are more likely to come see us
It isn't that costly to maintain. It is lovely to sit outside and listen to the waterfall while having coffee or wine or dinner.
We would likely put in a pool again but maybe not quite so large. On the flip side, if you don't mind waiting, because T&D always takes care of TV first, move in and think about it.
