Lovely post.
A old Italian tailor born in Italy was visited by his son in his shop in the USA.
A man came in to pick up a tailored suit. He asked how much it was. The tailor replied twenty dollars. The man gave him a fifty. He went to a shoe box and put in the fifty and pulled out thirty to give the man his change. His son was aghast that he was still doing businee like this after many years. He son asked, "hiow can possibly know what your profit is"?
The father replied, " I came to this country with my shirt, pants ansd a pair of shoes. I met your mother, bought a house and had four children. I sent all four children to college. Minus the shirt, pants and shoes. that is my profit.
