Finally he sold the fish and dumped the pond shell, pumps, rocks, and plants. He was trying to sell the home and the pond was a big detraction because no one wanted the pond. It was a wonderful and relaxing display.
A note of caution. You will probably have to build your pond inside a caged/screened patio. Otherwise the raccoons, coyotes, and stray cats will get the fish.

Don't forget the birds too! They love those plump fish.
