A few weeks ago, we found two old, stained glass windows at the antique mall on Rt 44 near Wildwood. We bargained the price down and took them home. Then we had to figure out how to hang then with a back light. We finally decided to build a frame and put a small piano type light behind the glass. I finished up the windows this morning and got them hung. The pics aren't great because of the lighting but they look really nice and give the lanai a homey touch.

Hi both, the stained galss looked good when we saw them the other day, but the picture really shows them off and what a great idea!
Met Bob and Cathy at Paddock Square tree lighting last night, another great couple, lively and sharp.
Almost missed each other because we don't have a US phone yet and Bob was trying to ring us, but couldn't get through and we couldn't understand why he hadn't rung and finally rang him.
The number on the spreadsheet is our UK one, so if you don't have international call package you can't ring us, but you can text us on that number.
Thats two couples we have met, Rusty and Janice and Bob and Cathy, both great.
Bumped into a new lady called Kitty taking pictures around the neighbourhood, who is buying a lot on Amherst and told her about the site and the 'do' on the 5th, hopefully she will come.
Whilst we were waiting for Bob and Cathy to arrive last night, we saw Kitty again!
Called to see the new Recreation Centre at the bottom of the road and there bumped into another prospective neighbour called Suzy and told her about this site, hope to see her on soon.
Then two nights ago we were in Crackerbarrel and sat at the bar at the side of a Bob & Diane who have a house at the bottom of Amherst, they didn't know about this site so they gave us an email address, but when we tried to use it, we got a bounceback - must have wrote it down wrong!
What a small world.
Can't wait to meet everyone else.
