We close on Jan 4th in Fernandina also! Our house is on Birdsong Place. We also have 2 years before retirement. When I was down in Oct for our Design meeting we ordered some furniture at Showcase Direct in Spanish Springs. They will deliver furniture before you close (they have builders keys). They do not charge for delivery and Villagers get 5% off. We ordered a bedroom set from them as well as a mattress. Badcock furniture also has a very quick turnaround.
