I have pondered this question as well. I think once you've visited TV, whether it's the salesperson or just that you like the lifestyle, that you feel like if you don't buy something right away, there won't be anything to buy when your ready. I watch the listings and in deed many that I would have been interested in have come and gone, but they are always replaced by others that look good, too. I am telling myself to be patient and stick to my schedule. I plan to start getting my house in shape for selling in the spring, then renting in TV for a month to give me time to really explore the place and see where I want to live given location of rec centers, shopping, etc. and/or make sure I really like it there. If my house sells, then I'll look for a place to buy or rent another month while the rates are lower or rent for a longer term. I only live about 100 miles away, but the thought of having two places does not appeal to me.
