Default TECO tankless water heater advertisement
Mike Scott, the installer plumber, is telling customers interested in the free tankless water heater being advertised in the newspaper by TECO that the $814 installation charge is to put the new unit outside. To replace the present water heater in the garage will cost an additional $400 because of recent code enforcement changes. Have others of you been told this and has anyone looked at the new code requirements to see if what they are saying is true or whether it is a means by which to rip off the customer?
