I had went to my chiropractor in Missouri about four times a year. It was usually associated with sitting at the computer a majority of the day at work and getting knots in my neck. I also had a place in the middle of my back that liked to slip out. Dr. Davis was on my chiropractor lists for possible contact in The Villages.

After retiring in June of 2010, we loaded up our stuff and moved to Hemingway. Discovered house didn't fit our needs and bought a house in Bonita. Needless to say my back was needing help.

Went to Dr. Davis in January for a manipulation. He insisted on X-Rays, which I could understand. I also had my left hand thumb, pointy finger and middle finger going numb.

I was assigned to the decompression machine. $4,200. Insurance paid nothing for it. I took out a Care Credit loan.

Did it help? It did somewhat for the numbness in my fingers. But that has come back now. I never did get the spinal manipulation. So when I go back to Missouri to visit, I contact my chiropractor and get a session in. I have tried to talk him into moving to The Villages as he loves to golf. But so far, I haven't gotten the job done.
