Gary Morse himself goes around at night and sprays the fire ant mounds. He has been doing this for years. He is a thoughtful guy and hard working and is paid well for it.

When the fire ants mound...and I can't remember when they arrive, they mound everywhere and it is very wise to be aware of them because the folks who get rid of them can't seem to stay ahead of them.
I was weeding in our plant beds last year and got stung several times. Apparently the first stinging ant shouts out "enemy" and everyone piles on.
No matter what you do to the bites...and people will tell you all kinds of remedies, they continue itching and burning for days.
So step carefully. Far worse than dog poop.
