I think the book is called The Great Cholesterol Con by Anthony Colpo.

Here is the summary line

(p254): "There is every reason in the world to encourage people to exercise frequently, stop smoking, eat minimally processed foods, and find ways to get a handle on the stresses of modern life. The evidence for low-fat diets, on the other hand, is based on a mixture of erroneous assumptions, half-truths and downright lies."


Seems a bit controversial.
