Mine is 127, no statins.

Helene's had climbed to above 200 and after consulting the cardiac specialists in Boston and Cincinnati who know a lot about Williams Syndrome she began statins this summer.

Henry has normal cholesterol but was born with only one coronary artery (Pete Marivich Syndrome) and Dr. Dean Keriakis who was his doctor in Cincinnati and who was pivotal in the discovery and use of TPA for first defense against a heart attack happening said it would be wise to keep the only coronary artery you have unclogged.

I don't think it is wise to dismiss statins summarily.
