Anyway, you mentioned that you received a separate card for instructions. I did too. You can download a PDF copy of that card at http://www.nextstepproduct.com/SAVI/...gram_Guide.pdf. I might look a little different, but I believe it has identical information in it except for one minor detail that you might notice in timing, but it's not important for what you're trying to do.

I found it a little tricky at first, but with a little endurance I finally got it. Here's a step by step suggestion on how to go at it:

1) Use your light button to turn on the lights like it's explained at the top of the back side of the card.
2) After waiting 15-30 seconds it's time to start the programming.
3) Make sure you're using the same on/off light switch that you used to turn on the lights.
4) Now press and hold that switch for one and a half seconds by saying "One 1000 two" and release the button immediately after you say two. The light will now be off. Just press the on/off button again to turn the light on.
5) Did your light change to the next mode on your mode guide? If not try step 4 again. If it doesn't happen after numerous tries, you just might have something wrong and need to contact your salesman and explain everything you've gone through. They might have someone else get back to you, so you'll have to play that one by ear.
6) If you're successful in making the color mode change, repeat step 4 as many times as you need to get to the color mode you want. Just remember that you can only make one color mode change/advance at a time.
7) Once you have the color mode you want to use, press and hold the on/off switch for more than 10 seconds using the "one 1000 etc." method then release the button. The light will now be off. The next time you turn on your light it should be in the mode you just set it at.

Hope you get er done this time. Let us know how you make out!

This sounds like you're getting into mode #7 instead of 1 (smooth), 8 (Med. Fast) or 9 (Fast)... the ones that change like you are looking for.

I just went out to our pool and completely cycled through all 9 modes on my pool successfully using my improved instruction showing above. From you post it seems like you may be using the list numbers as the number of seconds to hold for. Wrong! I might be wrong, but if you follow my amended instructions above, you should be successful. Again, let us know how you make out!
