I think it needs to be a "trendy" phrase, a verb and two more words ... as in ... we visited The Villages and
ate the shrooms, and the next thing we knew we were proud homeowners. We visited The Villages and
smelled the coffee, and the next thing we knew, we bought a house. We visited The Villages and
smoked the ?, and the next thing we knew, we were writing out a deposit cheque. Except none of those phrases work for me.
