I was shocked when I went and tested the links on MSIE, Firefox and Chrome and found that Yahoo did come up on all three browsers. So I went and checked the posting's source document and found that the coding was correct and pointed to the Villages website as it should. So when the request for the cams website gets processed it is accessing the correct address, but somehow it's getting hijacked by Yahoo somewhere along the internet pathway. I don't know why this is happening, but I suspect it may be happening by The Villages website.
In the mean time, you can access the cams by going directly to thevillages.com and click the tempertature in the upper right hand corner. It will popup the LSL cam and at the bottom there is a link to the SS cam.
Here is the copy of the source document segment showing that TOTV has it correctly pointing to The Villages website cam The Villages link will be in red and a little hard to read unless you highlite it and you'll need to scroll to the right:
PHP Code:
</div>Perhaps this will work better for you:<br /> <br /><a href="http://www.thevillages.com/lifestyle/cam_lsl.asp" target="_blank">Lake Sumter Landing Market Square, The Villages</a><br /> <br /> <a href="http://www.thevillages.com/lifestyle/cam_ss.asp" target="_blank">Spanish Springs Town Square, The Villages</a><br /> <br />BTW, I just checked and apparently the LSL cam has been adjusted where you can now see the area where people dance! ...and drink? <img src="https://www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/images/smilies/beer3.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Beer3" class="inlineimg" /> </div>
Tip: Bookmark the two cam addresses when you have them displayed for ease of future retrieval!
