I looked into my rear view mirror and noticed that my friends headlights were getting dim. We pulled off the road, right next to a pay phone and her car died. It was about midnight and we were in the middle of nowhere. I looked across the street and there was a service garage (closed, of course) but I noticed lights on in what looked to be an apartment above the garage. There was a phone number painted on the side of the building. We called the number, it turned out to be the garage owner who lived above the garage..he met us in the service bay and discovered that he had one alternator on hand..and it fit my friends car. The thing that struck me was the thought that if we had stopped 2 minutes before or two minutes later, or if we had gotten on the turnpike we could have had major problems.

It's amazing how things in life many times just seem to work out. If you think about the times one or two min or even seconds. may have been the difference between being in an accident or being home for a phone call that ended up altering the course of your life. Once again I believe in Devine intervention, I don't think thing happen without a reason behind why they happen
