I did look at the mini and iPad 4 both. Did a lot of research and side by side comparisons. And almost all articles did the comparisons back to the iPad 2 and 3.
I decided on the iPad 4....there was no way I could get a new toy that went backward, so to speak, in the technology being offered.
Or to be more positive there was no way to pass up the advancemsnts in the 4 to have a hand held size.
The price of each does cause one to think about it. But I was still convinced the better buy, for me wa sthe iPad4.
I have been playing with it most of the afternoon. I am so glad I did not get the smaller unit....even if the technology were even up.
The transition from my iPhone was very easy using i Tunes...everything transferred fro the iPhone 100%.
I am glad my wife presented me with the problem.
We did an early Christmas as we are traveling to Phoenix over the next few days and she wanted me (I think) to have it for the trip.
