I went and looked at both side by side..the mini screen is not that small when I put them side by side.. I went to buy the I pad for my wife for xmas, but after seeing the mini I decided to get it for her. I bought a 32 gig and it cost around 495.00 . The knock on the i pad is that is a bit heavy after holding it for a while. Google Cnet and that web sight has reviews on many electronic products.
