In all fairness, it could be something on my end too, so the reason for my post.
Anyone else having these issues???
Thanks!

Interesting info about speed but the OP was talking about his browser not finding the site. You, the OP, are not the only person having this issue. Both my wife and I have this issue with numerous web sites using two different laptop computers. Some of the sites are the weather, MSN, CNN, ESPN, Health, TOTV, just to name a few. It usually presents a box with lots of unhelpful words that boil down to "You either typed the URL wrong (from a Favorites list?) or the site doesn't exit, or some other (unspecified) problem exists. It then offers a Try Again button which sometimes works right away or more often doesn't work after several attempts. Sometimes it works only when the Enter key is pressed and you don't try to select Try Again with the mouse pointer. My laptop is set to use Firefox 32 bit as the default browser on Windows-7, 64 bit. Wife likes Internet Explorer as her default browser on Windows Vista, 32-bit. She also has problems when using her iPad with Safari. So it doesn't seem to be directly related to type of browser or computer platform. We live in Santiago Village - that might be a factor I suppose.
Internet speed is important but whether it is fast or slow, seems like the ISP should be able to reliably find the URL requested. Not sure of other ISPs (other than CenturyLink) are having these issues now or not.
