I did get a smile as I went through the list. I then thought outloud that these "now" things are improvements and that I would not like to go back to those things of the past.
It was a chore to put a deposit down on soda and milk bottles and then to have to return them to the store. Razor blades would last for maybe 5 shaves and then have to be tossed - probably cutting fingers in the process. The one electrical outlet vs a power strip does not save electricity but just makes it more time consuming to use conveniences. The GPS for your car does not take up any expendables and sure makes driving a lot easier.
My point - even though the posting was in jest (and very humorous) - is that I seriously doubt anyone would voluntarily give up all of our modern conveniences and go back to the ways of the 1940's.
