Would you rather the crazies use IUDs? Don't blame the issues with our mental health system on guns. If these people didn't have a gun, they'd use a knife or acid or a baseball bat or fertilizer (been done recently) or whatever is accessible. If you really want to research this situation you will find the only proven way to reduce loss of life in these situations is to have someone nearby with a conceal/carry weapon.
