A few years back an Island in the Caribben set up a system where prisons
were erected in the center of town. If a person was picked up for a crime
they went into the prison and had an immediate trial. If not guilty they were released if guilty they stayed and the people going by the prison could see them. THere were no delays, no hiding behind bars and walls but in full view
of the citizens if guilty. Crime dropped to nil. Justice and consequences were quick, no paroles. Compare that to bail, parole, delayed justice. As they say
justice delayed is justice denied.
