In keeping with this thread and having lived here fulltime for over six years Ihave witnessed no less than 6 cars on the cartpaths, cart drivers who stop suddenly on the carpaths for any number of reasons, car drivers who have stopped midway in a right turn to let other cars/ carts pass, shoppers who have left their groceries in their grocery carts and drove away. Joggers in the diamond lane that defy you. Drivers car/cart who wait until the very last second and then decide to pull out from a driveway or side street. Families who pile into a car like teenager did in telephone booths. Cart drivers who blast their radio so loud that it would drown out the sound of a plane overhead . so for me a defensive pessimism keeps me alert
