I always wonder why in the winter people get sick...seems like more often.

I also wonder what people think flu is.

I have heard of all kinds of symptoms attributed to flu and terms stomach flu and touch of flu.

Sweetie and I got the lalapalooza shot this year because we are over....a certain age and got a sore arm for sure which I hope indicates we really got immune to what I think is a lulu virus that attacks head and chest and makes you feverish and achy. And this virus changes and mutates and that is the reason we have to get a new shot every year.

I was once told that once you had a certain type of cold you were immune to that particular virus for always, but the trouble is that there are tons of different cold viruses.

I think that you do have a shot at warding off some bugs if your general health is good.

Anyway. Welcome back snowbirds, germs and all. We love you and will share our germs with you.

Happy New Year.

I don't know why I typed all this.

I think it is because I don't feel like exercising this morning........
