I have to clean mold and mildew off some of my exposed concrete 2 or 3 times a year but I have never noticed any on the river rock. I think because the concrete has microscopic pores that allow the mold to grow but even though we say the river rock is porous, the individual pebbles are coated in the epoxy that binds them together and the epoxy is not porous.
