This thread was about a perpertrator taking advantage of a senior with diminished mental capacity. Sex offenders are also predators and its important to know that they are among us. The fact that some minor crimes are lumped in is a problem but that's another kettle of fish. The laws need to be changed but we can't ignore the fact that there are sex offenders commiting felonies on innocents. Yes, we need to discern what the offense was if a neighbor is labled a sex offender but to ignore it is dangerous.
