First post - golf
"There is an introduction to golf presented at some regional rec centers, Colony comes to mind and it is very important, probably MORE important than a "golf lesson" to learn the rules of golf and the etiquette of golf and how to keep the pace of play."
You will then be able to play golf with anyone you are paired with comfortably and not irritate anyone or slow down the course.
Someone can tell you where but it is probably the most important information you can absorb if you are contemplating the game.

I would like to stress the importance of the post above that strongly suggests "Intro to Golf". It is equally important to not only learn the etiquette of golf but also to spend the required amount of time on the range. One should be learned enough so as to not embarrass him/herself or their playing partners. It is unfair to those you're playing with and ALL of those behind you, on the course, if you do not know "the rules of golf". Mango 47
