That is why some restaurants don't serve Christmas dinner anymore. Our favorite restaurant told us that the diners were so RUDE to the waitstaff on Christmas last year (when the staff had to work!) that they decided to close for Christmas this year. "Mean as spit!" is how they described last year's Christmas dinner patrons.
