I think backing on a street is a good thing. Good luck with selling your home. But remember even with improvements homes are selling now about what they sold for about five years ago.
Bill-n-Brillo gave us the best advice ever when we were thinking to put our Ohio house on the market. "Put the asking price as low as you can stomach."
We did. It sold quickly.
