Back when gas was .99 cents I would have fun trying to get lost (which wasn't difficult) on county roads in Pasco county FL(no map, no GPS). I wanted to see where I would end up if I didn't know where I was going and then find my way back. On a nice day you get to enjoy a lot of beautiful countryside.
I found that when I got hungry, I tended to find my way back quicker.
