Default FYI Hiring a Mover

I found this is a magazine about moving and scams. It's good information that I've saved so I thought I would share it with anyone who might need it...
Before you find a mover here is some good information. Reputable companies don't give estimates strictly over the phone. They look at what you plan to move and give you a written, non binding estimate , take payment on delivery and are required to deliver for no more than 10% above estimate. Before hiring go to FMCSA website protectyourmove.gov to check if the mover is properly registered or has a history of complaints.
Hope this is helpful.
