Just a thought without arguing here. "Laying" on the horn as you say sometimes only scares the cyclist and may make matters worse. They ride on Pinnelas and other secondary roads in TV because that is where the multimodal path resides. For some one to say they were "passing" the cyclist and they veered out in front of them says they were not "passing" them yet but were going to. AND, that means there must have been an intersection or merging lane the cyclist was near. JMHO.. We all need to share the road and as many posts say, knowing some roads are shared by carts and bikes. Btw, if you think the cyclists should ride on the multimodal paths, listen to people whine about going slow for the carts and people walking on them. Lol
