On a Yamaha, if you lay on your back and look up at the back of the light, there is a small silver spring loaded phillips head screw. Turn the screw counter-clockwise to raise the light beam, or clockwise to lower it. If you pull the cart about 5' from the wall, in a darkened garage, it's easy to see where the beam hits. Mark the center of both beams with a piece of tape before you adjust the light, then when you adjust it, you can tell how much you've changed the beam. Not necessary to remove the light and housing.
