I agree there can be many reasons and here are some of them:
1) climatic conditions
2) perception of the environment
3) less body fat
4) certain medical conditions (like anemia, hypothroidism and Raynaud's Disease)
5) poor dietary habits (Example: B12 deficiency)
6) Anorexia
7) aging
