To me, a western theme has more to do with how you do it, and not where you do it. In central Canada we ride our quarter horses Western style, not English. We wear Western boots and Western Stetsons. We use Western saddles and practice barrel racing and reining. I always thought cowboys and cattle drives were western in nature, even when done in Florida or Ontario. But you know, it doesn't matter one bit to me. I love horses and cattle and saddles, and I feel really comfortable in Brownwood!
