Surprisingly easy and good.
Oh I serve with Jiffy corn bread from mix. I like the sweetness.

Yes, that original version with the ham bone (which we all had back in the day) is the one I would make.....after soaking the beans, etc.
Since I do have Progresso cannelini beans (white beans) in the pantry, I'm going to try your version this coming week.......it sounds great.
