Oh I serve with Jiffy corn bread from mix. I like the sweetness.
Mom used to make us bean soup with a twist on the bread part. She would take dough and roll it out very thin like pizza, then using a mason jar lid she would cut biskets out and fry them in bacon grease real slow until brown on both sides. Yum Yum
