True story. When I applied for my license in CA, I took the written exam and went to the next window. The person there noted my Mass license and asked how many tickets I got in my dozen years there. I told him I had none. He said I didn't need a road test and gave me my license. Maybe it was the policy then and he was pulling my leg, but I like to believe it was escaping MA without a ticket.
