Needless to say they had to move out and they had no recourse with the bank who sold them the house (they bought a bank owned home). The bank denied knowing the history of the house.
So sad, this couple poured their heart and soul into renovations and could only return to the house with space type looking suits to protect themselves.
I hope if the house on Livingston Loop is rented or sold the history is made aware so no one gets sick.
I don't know anything about disclosure laws in Florida. What is legal and what is ethical may be two different things.

I hope the disclosure laws cover things like this here in Florida, but if they don't then I hope that change will happen.

All of the villagers who rent out their homes, especially for long periods of time need to do a lot of research on potential renters, just as anyone should, anywhere. Having folks like that inhabit your home could be disastrous.
